These boards ARE in stock and ready to ship. The image is a used board, but you'll be getting a new board, looks a lot like the one in the picture, minus the already been riden part. The "Pier Pony" is by far the most directional small wave board ever released by JS. Specifically built for really weak and boring waves, the Pier Pony will make those lousy surf days a whole lot of fun. The constant flow of Vee running from the nose entry through to the tail help overcome the flatest rocker in the JS range. This vee creates quick transitions from rail to rail enabling you to gather speed through the weakest and flatest sections. JS has left a lot of volume throughout the board with a flat deck and full rail, making sure you are hovering over every section and avoiding any bog down time. It might sound extreme but we recommend you ride this board 8-10 inches shorter than normal.

Wide flat and fast

Mini Simmons, Neckbeards, SweetPotatoes ... they're all in the same class, but I like the Pier Pony the best. The Pier Pony is for people who LIKE to ride shortboards, not someone looking for a longboard alternative (Mini Simmons). A little more refined in the tail than the NeckBeard. A completely different board than the Sweet Potato. This board is for a more progressive surfer.
