So warm and so soft
XCEL makes some of the warmest and most flexible booties out there. All the seams on the Drylocks are blindstitched, but the stitch never fully penetrates the neoprene, so you get a better seal and a better seal means a warmer boot. As with all surf gear, there's a trade-off to warmth and flexibility and that's durability. The XCEL Drylock booties are so soft and warm that they probably won't last as long as the O'Neill boots. To me, that's a price I'm willing to pay.
