Is there a restock fee?

• Yes, the actual cost of shipping the item to you will be deducted from your refund. This is typically $11 - $15 dollars for a wetsuit. Shoes, average about $9. Watches are less than $7. We will deduct that actual shipping cost from your refund. That's the only 'restock' fee we have. If you used a paid shipping method, then the refund will be the full amount of the product being returned. 

Only New Items in Unused Condition Can Be Returned

• Items should have all original tags and packaging.
• Items should be clean and free of signs of wear. 
• Items that have been worn in the ocean are non returnable.

HBCSurf Returns and RMA Policiy

• Item days start from the day of order and end on the day we receive the item
• Items can be returned up to 45 Days from Purchase
• Your RMA is your order number
• Restock fees for less than 30 days = Shipping Costs (actuall shipping costs to get the item to you)
• Restock fees for 31 - 45 days = Shipping Cost + 15%
• Return Shipping is the Customer's respnsability.
• Prepaid labels can be purchased with HBCSurf (they're less expensive than USPS and can be deducted from your refund)

 HBCSurf will issue free return lables on full price clothing (Contiguous 48 states only) via UPS.

Special Item Returns

Surfboad return fees will be the actual cost of the shipping charges. Usually between $60 and $110 USD. Expect the total cost of a return to be between $160 and $300 depending on where you live. Surfboards that have been ridden are not returnable. You should ALWAYS get insurance for the full amount when shipping a surfboard. We recommend UPS or FedEx for surfboard shipping.

• Expect to pay $160 to $300 on returned surfboards in fees and shipping

Wetsuits are intimate apparel and after being worn in the water and non-returnable.

Unused wetsuits are returnable for 30 days. a 10% restock fee will be applied. Special order wetsuits are not returnable.

• Unused wetsuits are returnable
• Used wetsuits are not returnable
• Damaged wetsuits should be sent to the manufacturer

Longer than 45 Days?

We will take these on a case by case basis for some items. The following items will be refused return after 45 days: wetsuits, sunglasses, watches and surfboards. Any item returned after 45 days will be charged a 20% restock fee and the cost of shipping. 

When an item is returned after 30 days, the customer is responsible for:

• All shipping charges
