O'Neill PsychoFreak 3.5/2.5 Mens 2012 Wetsuit Black

Overview

Water Temp: 40s-60s
Air Temp and Wind: 20s-60s
Excellent stretch, flex and water rating. Very good Wind and Air. Good durability. Best suited for cold water and cold to moderate air temps down to the low 20's with light to moderate wind. The limestone based neoprene are warmer and more flexible.

All new for Fall 2011 / Winter 2012 the O'Neill PsychoFreak. The new 2012 O'Neill PsychoFreak is a complete redesign. Thinner FSW, warmer neoprene, stretchier neoprene, more firewall, it's a beast. A stretchy warm beast.

XDS Air SL Firewall:This is the smooth part of the wetsuiton the chest. It's warm, it's light and it stretches. On the interior, the lining helps keep the wearer warm and dry.

Z.E.N. Zip Entry: It's the thing you pull over your head. This is the feature everyone loves and it makes a big difference. Water will come in a zipper, so having that layer of neoprene really helps and there's a drainhole at the botton so any water that does come in, goes back OUT the wetsuit - nice!\.

SSW Super Seam Weld: the SSW is 60% thinner than the O'Neill Fluid Seam Weld. That makes for a stretchier wetsuit, that still keeps out the cold.

And More new features for the 2012 PsychoFreak wetsuit: Super seal cuffs are fused at the end of the cuff, also on the Psycho II. It makes a lower profile and also helps keep the wetsuit from absorbing any water through the cuff. XXX Neoprene everywhere. The whole suit is 200% stretch neoprene and that's just insane stretch and super cozy.

Who needs this suit? Do you get cold easily? Do you need to make the absolute most out of the little time you get in the water? If you answered yes, then this may be the suit for you. Even though it's a 3.2/2/5 it warms more like a top of the line 4/3.

Excellent wetsuit! Think traditional 4/3 replacement ( low/mid 40's to mid 50's F) with this, not 3/2. Warmer and strechier than my new (other brand) 4/3. Very nice. I have not warn it in water warmer than low 50's F yet but it will probably be too warm for upper 50's/lower 60's F.

This is a great cold water wetsuit, but it's not for New England winters. Attached hoods are better when the water is in the 30s.
